Ward 10
The gerontological psychiatric ward 10 offers 16 beds for the full inpatient treatment of elderly patients with mental illnesses, the severity of which, often together with physical limitations, is so pronounced that intensive psychiatric, general medical and nursing care is also required at night and at weekends.
As a rule, people in the second half of life are admitted who suffer from the following illnesses, for example:
- Depression
- Psychotic disorders
- Dementia diseases
- Addictive disorders
- Anxiety disorders
- Acute danger to self and others
