Therapeutic riding

In dealing with the horse, the human being is addressed holistically, i.e. physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. The focus is on individual support through the medium of the horse.

Therapeutic riding contributes to stabilization, ego-strengthening, compliance, self-confidence and overcoming fears, to name a few examples. Horses are curious by nature, very flexible and can quickly adjust to their counterpart. Through the triangular learning situation: patient, horse, riding instructor, new relationship experiences are made possible. In this way, patients can get back in touch with their self-healing powers and resources.

Donation for therapeutic riding

The Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Tübingen has been providing this form of therapy to mentally ill people for many years. Due to increasing cost pressure, however, we are dependent on donations in order to be able to continue to provide this therapy to as many needy patients as possible.

For the support with 300 € we thank Manuela Warth from Renningen.
