The Supervisory Board of Directors appoints, supervises and advises the University Hospital Executive Board of Directors. It is the decision-maker in respect of fundamental changes to the organisation of the University Hospital Tübingen, the appointment of (Medical) Directors, the determination of the economic plans and annual financial statements, and also in respect of legal transactions which have far-reaching consequences such as the formation of separate enterprises or investment in other companies.
