The University Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy's historical building on the "Tal" Hospital premises has characterised the city landscape overlooking Tübingen's old town centre since 1895. Directly next to this building, is the home of the Department of Paediatric and Juvenile Psychiatry. The newly erected building of the Outpatient Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry ("PIA"), the Wildermuthstrasse Day Clinic, and Wielandshöhe Day Clinic for the elderly are also part of this Hospital complex.
