The University Department of Urology Tübingen is located in the Crona Hospitals on the Schnarrenberg ("Berg" Hospitals). This Hospital deals with the research, determination and treatment of disorders of the kidney, the prostate gland, the urinary bladder and the urinary tract, as well as the male genitalia.
The Hospital has first-class global expertise at its disposal in the field of urologic surgery, and is one of the most renowned centres for benign and malignant diseases of the prostate gland. In the case of cancer, the urologic specialists at the Southwest German Tumour Centre - the Comprehensive Cancer Centre Tübingen - (centre for urogenital tumours) work in close collaboration with all the other specialist disciplines at the University Hospital.
