Centre for Ophthalmology
The University Hospital Tübingen's Centre for Ophthalmology is heavily involved in the current developments in ophthalmology and is one of the most important Centres in Germany in respect of research and health-care.
The Centre comprises the University Eye Hospital and the Institute for Ophthalmic Research. It is located on the "Tal" Hospital premises. The Hospital building which was erected in the year 1909 and overlooks Tübingen's old town centre, offers a fantastic view of the Hohentübingen Castle.
