Prof. Dr. Mathias Heikenwälder selected as one of the Highly Cited Researchers 2023

We congratulate Prof. Dr. Mathias Heikenwälder to his inclusion in the prestigious list of Highly Cited Researchers 2023, which each year is published by Clarivate.
Clarivate runs the Web of Science Group, which designates the Highly Cited Researchers based on their scientific papers which ranked in the top 1% most cited publications in their respective field.
Prof. Heikenwälder now received the Highly Cited Researcher status for the fifth year in a row for his numerous influential papers in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, oncology, cell biology and immunology.

In Tübingen, Prof. Heikenwälder is scientific director of The M3 Research Center, which is part of the University Hospital Tübingen, and group leader of the center’s research group Immune signatures of chronic inflammatory human diseases driving cancer.
