Guest Speaker IM2: Dr. Meritxell Alberich Jordà

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Meritxell Alberich Jordà from the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences will be visiting our laboratory on May 14th 2025. Her laboratory investigates the molecular mechanisms that control hematopoietic stem cell maintenance and fate, with special focus to the pathways and signals that promote granulocytic production. She will be delivering a talk on “Intrinsic and Extrinsic Control of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Fate: Implications for Emergency Granulopoiesis and Leukemia.”
