Rolf Luft Award 2023
The Rolf Luft Foundation invites nominations for the 2023 Rolf Luft Award in
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
The Prize ceremony will take place at Nobel Forum, Karolinska Institutet, where the awardee will receive the Rolf Luft Medal, a Diploma and a price sum followed by a lecture by the awardee on his/her research to an audience of basic and clinical researchers and clinicians.
Previous distinguished awardees have been Jeffrey Friedman, Ronald Kahn, Bruce
Spiegelman, Sir Stephen O'Rahilly, Sir Philip Cohen, Wylie Vale, Lewis C. Cantley,
Grahame Hardie, Jeffrey Scott Flier, David John Mangelsdorf, Se-Jin Lee, Roger Unger,
Andrew Hattersly, Michael Brown, Joseph Goldstein, Daniel Drucker, Rudolf Zechner,
Mitchell Lazar, Franz M. Matschinsky and Roger D. Cone.
The nomination should include a CV, a !ist of the nominee's ten most important publications and a short description ofthe nominee's contributions to science and health in Endocrinology, Diabetes or Metabolism (no more than 200 words). The deadline for the nomination isDecember 15, 2022.
