On behalf of the iFIT spokespersons Lars Zender, Juliane Walz and Bernd Pichler, it is our pleasure to inform you about and invite you to the next iFIT Lunch & Learn Session 2024 that will take place
on Wednesday, March 20th at 12:30 pm (CET)
at Big Lecture Hall in the HNO Clinic (HNO Klinik, Elfriede-Aulhorn-Straße 5, 72076 Tübingen).
Our guest speaker, Dr. Saskia Biskup (CeGaT and Center for Human Genetics Tübingen ) will give a talk on
“Diagnostics in cancer patient care 2040 – are there still cancer patients?”
Dr. Saskia Biskup founded CeGat 15 years ago. Since 2009, CeGat has been helping doctors and patients find the genetic causes of rare diseases, and providing scientists and pharmaceutical companies with sequencing services for clinical trials and their research. Next-generation sequencing is its core technology which is made available in a high-throughput format. Dr. Biskup will walk us through the so far challenges and achievements in CeGat, its current situation and will try to provide an outlook for 2040.
