Übersicht

Bertrand Lell ist Direktor des Forschunszentrums (CERMEL) in Lambaréné. Dort hat er bereits zahlreiche klinische Studien geleitet, wie beispielsweise Phase I bis Phase III-Studien zur Evaluierung der Malariamedikamente Atovaquone/Proguanil, Tafenoquine, Ferroquin und Fosmidomycin. Am CERMEL leitet Dr. Lell die Abteilung für Datenmanagement und Statistik als auch die Abteilung für Informationstechnologie. Außerdem überwacht Dr. Lell das Gesundheits- und Demografie-Überwachungssystem und ist in verschiedene epidemiologische Studien involviert. Dr. Lell unterrichtet Biostatistik am CERMEL und Parasitologie an der Universität Tübingen.

Bertrand Lell is director of the Lambaréné research centre (CERMEL). He has been principal investigator on numerous clinical trials, such as Phase I to III trials of the antimalarials atovaquone/proguanil, tafenoquine, ferroquine and fosmidomycin. At CERMEL, Dr. Lell supervises the data management & statistics department as well as the information technology department. He heads the health and demographics surveillance system and is involved in several epidemiological studies. Dr. Lell teaches biostatistics at CERMEL and parasitology at the University of Tübingen.
