BioMedical Scientist
For BioMedical Scientists, new and interesting fields of activity in medical research have emerged in recent years. In the synthesis of basic and translational research, biomedical scientists navigate the complex path from laboratory discoveries to real-world clinical impact.
BioMedical Scientists are life scientists who study human diseases and research methods for their prevention and treatment. In doing so, they collaborate with physicians. They design studies, use clinical trials, develop experiments, and make hypotheses to understand specific health problems and prevent disease.
For this they need a wide range of qualifications and knowledge. The following overview shows which qualifications and competencies should be acquired in the course of a career as a biomedical scientist. We call it the "Must-Haves List For Biomedical Scientists".
