Epitranskriptomik
In recent years, the field of epitranscriptomics has developed impressively - driven by new methodological approaches and advanced sequencing technologies such as next-generation sequencing or single-cell sequencing. At the same time, data science has become considerably more important: Bioinformatics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence open up completely new possibilities for analysing huge RNA data sets, detecting previously unknown modifications, and gaining deeper insights into complex biological processes. This interplay opens up fascinating new perspectives in molecular biology research. The research programme "Epitranscriptomics - Innovative research approaches from method to application" picks up on this dynamic.
The projects run for up to three years. Funding is provided for personnel, material and travelling expenses.
Deadline at the BW-Stiftung: November 13, 2025
Please note (!): The research is carried out on behalf of Baden-Württemberg Stiftung on the basis of a contract. The rights to the results of the contract research belong exclusively to Baden-Württemberg Stiftung ("Auftragsforschung").
