Biobank Core Facility

The M3 is home to the centralized biobank of the Medical Faculty of the Eberhard-Karls University of Tübingen, which is currently under construction. The aim of the biobank is to provide researchers in Tübingen and beyond with high-quality biosamples. For this purpose, both human and animal biosamples are processed according to standardized processes and stored long-term under a wide variety of conditions. The biobank does not pursue a fixed focus, but serves the entire spectrum of specialist areas researched at the UKT and the MFT.
