Center for Pediatric Clinical Studies (CPCS)

Das Center for Pediatric Clinical Studies (CPCS) ist als akademische full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) für klinische Studien bei Neugeborenen und Kindern einzigartig in Deutschland. 

Seit mehr als 10 Jahren koordiniert das CPCS wissenschaftsgetriebene (Investigator-Initiated) und Industriegebundene pädiatrische klinische Studien. Die Mission des CPCS ist es, durch die Durchführung wissenschaftlich hochwertiger klinischer Studien, die medizinische Versorgung kranker Kinder zu verbessern. Noch immer sind die meisten Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte für die Anwendung bei Neugeborenen und Kindern nicht geprüft und zugelassen. Diese Versorgungslücke möchte das CPCS schließen.

Unsere Studien finden auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene statt. 

Als koordinierendes und ausführendendes Prüfzentrum arbeiten wir eng mit unseren Partner in anderen Kliniken, pädiatrischen Fachgesellschaften, Studiennetzwerken und der Industrie zusammen. Wir unterstützen diese in den Bereichen Planung, Drittmitteleinwerbung, Koordination, Durchführung, Monitoring, Data Management, Biometrie und Pharmakovigilanz.

Anzahl Mitarbeiter: 23 (Wissenschaftler, Monitore, Studienassistenten, Medizininformatiker u.a.). Bei Bedarf kann weiteres qualifiziertes Personal (Studienassistenten, Monitore, Prüfärzte, etc.) projektbezogen aus dem Pool der Kinderklinik rekrutiert werden.
